With over a decade of experience with gifted students in public education, Dr. Erika Lucas has made it her mission to educate her students, their families, and their teachers about the unique and often misunderstood culture of gifted learners. From her beginnings as a first-grade and fourth-grade teacher, then as a middle and high school teacher, Erika quickly realized that executive dysfunction was something that many of her gifted students faced.

As your personalized executive function specialist, it is important first to administer an Executive Skills Questionnaire to identify areas where your gifted child may need support in honing executive function skills (and also what their strengths are). We’ll create an individualized plan based on the data, giving you the tools you need to help your child succeed. This package is perfect for those looking for a targeted approach to carry out themselves at home/school. |

In addition to administering and analyzing the Executive Skills Questionnaire, Dr. Lucas will also provide your child with eight (45-minute) dedicated sessions to work with me, their executive function specialist, on metacognition exercises and reflection on the strategies and systems we decide to implement. This package includes everything in the basic package and is designed to help students hone skills with support and accountability. |
